LES CIRCUITS
Il existe deux circuits balisés sur le site d'Angkor qui permettent de visiter la plupart des temples majeurs. Le petit et le grand circuit, de 12 et 17 km chacun. |
There are two circuits marked out on the site of Angkor which make it possible to visit the majority of the major temples. The small one and the large circuit, of 12 and 17 km each one. |

Le petit circuit peut se faire dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre, en commençant par Angkor Wat ou dans l'autre sens. De très nombreux groupes et tours organisés commencent très tôt par Angkor Wat de telle sorte qu'il vaut mieux commencer par l'autre côté pour être à l'abris des foules, ou démarrer par Angkor Wat après 9.00 h. |
The small circuit can be done in the direction of the needles of a watch, while starting with Angkor Wat or in the other direction. Very many groups and organized tours start very early with Angkor Wat so that it is to better start with the other side to be with the shelters of crowd, or to start by Angkor Wat after 9.00 H. |

Le grand circuit est moins fréquenté que le petit circuit, ce qui le rend plus agréable. Il est possible de le faire en commençant par Srah Srang, et en terminant par Angkor Thom ou Angkor Wat que l'on aura déjà pu visiter avec le petit circuit. |
The large circuit is attended less than the small circuit, which makes it more pleasant. It is possible to do it starting with Srah Srang, and finishing by Angkor Thom or Angkor Wat which one will have already been able to visit with the small circuit. |

AROUND ANGKOR

Bantea Srey est un petit temple plein de charme, à visiter absolument, situé au Nord Est du site d'Angkor à une vingtaine de kilomètres des circuits classiques. |
Bantea Srey is a small temple full of charm, to visit absolutely, located at North East of the site of Angkor at about 20 kilometres of the traditional circuits. Although slightly moved away, it is very visited and, to see it in good conditions it is important to avoid crowd of the tour operators, while going there early the morning, after having seen sunrise it in Srah Srang, for example, or while going there at the beginning of afternoon. |

Visiter Kohker et Preah Vihar peut se faire en voiture en deux journées. Compter deux heures et demi de route entre chaque point : Siem Reap / Kohker / Preah Vihar et cinq heures pour le retour. Il existe des petits restaurants locaux au pied de Khoker, mais à Preah Vihar, l'hébergement est réduit à sa plus simple expression et la nourriture est déconseillée à ceux qui craignent l'intoxication ! Pour monter jusqu'à Preah Vihar, il y a une route de sept kilomètres qui grimpe comme un escalier, à faire exclusivement avant que le soleil ne donne, ou, plus simplement en utilisant les services locaux d'une moto ou d'un 4x4. Pendant la saison des pluies, il est plus prudent d'utiliser un 4x4 pour faire cette belle balade, certains secteurs de route n'étant plus praticables autrement. |
To visit Kohker and Preah Vihar can be done by car in two days. Count two hours and half of road between each point: Siem Reap / Kohker / Preah Vihar and five hours for the return. There are small local restaurants at the foot of Khoker, but in Preah Vihar, lodging is tiny room to its simpler expression and food is misadvised with those which fear the intoxication! To go up until Preah Vihar, there is a road of seven kilometres which climbs like a staircase, to make exclusively early morning, before the sun comes, or, more simply by using the local services of a motor bike or a 4x4 During the rain season, it is more advisable to use a 4x4 to make this beautiful strolls, certain sectors of road not being more practicable differently. |

Un village du bout du monde ! Au bout d'une piste que l'on ne peut emprunter qu'en 4x4 ou en moto (à la rigueur en taxi pendant la saison sèche, à condition de descendre de voiture de temps en temps) alors qu'on croit qu'il n'existe plus rien, on se trouve face à un village de pêcheurs et éleveurs de crocodiles avec des maisons perchés sur des échasses de plus de dix mètres, mais un vrai village avec pagode, école et de nombreux enfants dans tous les sens. |
A village of the end of the world ! At the end of track that one can ride only in 4x4 or in motor bike (with rigour by taxi during dry season , with condition to go down from car from time to time) whereas it is believed that there exists nothing any more, one is vis-a-vis a village of fishermen and stockbreeders of crocodiles with houses perched on stilts of more than ten meters, but a true village with pagoda, school and many children everywhere. It is also the forest absorbed (just after the rains) and the forest petrified (at the end of the dry season ) |

See the elephants In the morning : A royal walk, you go up on the elephant, and the walk starts in one of the most beautiful sites of the world. Crossed South Gate of Angkor Thom, long walk in the forest of Angkor Thom , to stop finally in front of the Est entry of Bayon . In the end of the afternoon: The elephants are stationed at the foot of Phnom Bakheng , you make with them the rise of Phnom Bakheng climb up to the top and attend laying down sun on Angkor Wat. |

See the balloon Une manière originale et paisible de voir les choses de haut ! La vue imprenable sur les perspectives d'Angkor Wat, entre autres, vaut largement le déplacement. Le ballon monte et redescend quelques minutes plus tard, c'est suffisant pour en avoir plein les yeux. L'ascension se fait aussi au coucher du soleil, le spectacle est impressionnant ! |
